Jason Bass

Jason is the VP of Finance and CCO of Genesis Park and joined the firm in 2023. He oversees fund operations, accounting and finance, reporting, and compliance. Previously, Jason was the Director of Finance at Mercury Fund, a Houston-based venture capital fund. At Mercury, Jason worked with the finance and operations team managing financial reporting, cash management, audit, tax, and investor relations. Prior to Mercury, Jason was a Senior Accountant at EY in their financial services practice where he was responsible for the year end audits of venture capital and private equity clients.

Jason attended Auburn University where he obtained his B.S. in Accountancy.
