Curtis Hartman
Curtis is a Managing Partner of Genesis Park and a Founding Partner of GP Capital Partners (SBIC). Curtis has extensive private equity, private credit, and corporate development experience. He was a co-founder of Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) and enjoyed a 20-year career, including predecessor Main Street entities, where he served in senior executive roles, including on the Executive Committee and Investment Committee, and was a principal of three SBIC funds. Previously, Curtis held investment and portfolio company roles with Sterling City Capital, a Houston-based investment firm, and started his career with Deloitte & Touche and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Financial Assurance and Transaction Advisory roles.
Curtis has served on the board of numerous portfolio companies and HMS Income Fund, Inc., a non-listed Business Development Company (BDC). He is also Ex-Officio and former Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA), the principal industry association representing SBICs, BDCs and other middle market investment firms. He currently serves as a Trustee of Episcopal High School in Houston and on the Advisory Council for the University of Texas – McCombs School of Business MSF Program. Curtis is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and a licensed CPA.
